Terms & Conditions – Femme Mountain Collective Snowboard & Ski Trips

Article 1 – Definition

• Organizer: Femme Mountain Collective (“we,” “our,” or “us”), the organizer of the snowboard and ski trips.

• Participant: Any person who books a trip with Femme Mountain Collective.

• Travel Services: The services included in the trip, such as accommodation, lift passes, transport, snowboard/ski clinics, and guided tours.

• Agreement: The contract between the Participant and Femme Mountain Collective, including these Terms & Conditions

• Force Majeure: Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

Article 2 – Applicability of the Terms & Conditions

2.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all snowboard and ski trips organized by Femme Mountain Collective.

2.2 By booking a trip, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Article 3 – Booking & Payment

3.1 A deposit of 30% of the total trip price is required to secure your booking.

3.2 Full payment is due 8 weeks before the trip start date. If payment is not received by the deadline, your spot may be forfeited.

3.3 Prices are per person unless stated otherwise.

Article 4 – Cancellations & Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellations by the Participant

4.1.1 Deposit is non-refundable.

4.1.2 Cancellation fees apply as follows:

• 46 days or more before departure: 50% refund (minus deposit).

• Less than 45 days before departure: No refund.

• No-shows or early departures: No refund.

4.2 Cancellations by Femme Mountain Collective

4.2.1 We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to low participant numbers or unforeseen circumstances.

4.2.2 In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to transfer to a future trip.

Article 5 – Travel Insurance & Responsibility

5.1 Travel insurance is mandatory and must cover trip cancellations, medical expenses, and emergency evacuations (including backcountry rescue if applicable).

5.2 Femme Mountain Collective is not responsible for additional costs due to travel disruptions, missed flights, or injuries during the trip.

Article 6 – Participant Responsibilities

6.1 You are responsible for ensuring that you have the required skill level for the trip (e.g., beginner, intermediate, or advanced snowboard/ski experience).

6.2 You must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or dietary restrictions before the trip.

6.3 You agree to follow safety instructions provided by guides or instructors.

Article 7 – Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

7.1 Snowboarding and skiing involve inherent risks, including injury, avalanches, and unpredictable weather.

7.2 Femme Mountain Collective is not liable for injuries, loss/damage of personal gear, or any additional costs arising from accidents or weather-related delays.

7.3 By booking, you waive any claims against Femme Mountain Collective for injuries or damages incurred during the trip.

Article 8 – Equipment & Gear

8.1 You are responsible for bringing the necessary snowboarding/skiing gear and safety equipment (e.g., helmet, avalanche gear if required).

8.2 Rental equipment may be available, but availability is not guaranteed. Participants are responsible for arranging their rentals in advance.

Article 9 – Changes & Transfers

9.1 If you wish to transfer your booking to another person, you must notify us at least 30 days before the trip start date. Transfer is subject to approval.

9.2 If you wish to change your booking (e.g., switch to a different trip), additional costs may apply.

Article 10 – Photo & Media Consent

10.1 By participating, you grant Femme Mountain Collective permission to use photos/videos taken during the trip for marketing purposes unless you opt-out in writing before the trip.

Article 11 – Code of Conduct

11.1 Femme Mountain Collective fosters a supportive, inclusive, and respectful community. Disruptive, discriminatory, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.

11.2 We reserve the right to remove any participant from the trip without a refund if they engage in behavior that threatens the safety or well-being of others.

Article 12 – Governing Law

12.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction of Canada].

By booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
